Visit to Dorchester Abbey on Thurs. 22nd June 2006.

Prof. Brian Kemp was a splendid guide to the Abbey church;
the lunch at the White Hart was served smoothly,
and the weather was kind as we visited the Museum,
followed by tea in the medieval Upper Room.
Most of the party then walked down to the Catholic Church
where Fr Osman told us about the continuance of Catholicism in this area
after the Reformation.
